Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Natural Resources
Scientist/GIS Specialist for employment in the Chelmsford- MAoffice. AECOM is

The responsibilities of this position include- but are not limited to:

Utilizes basic scientific principles- theories- practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.

Collects and enters data- and applies technical principles and theories.

Interprets and records data- conducts analyses- compares findings to relevant studies and local- state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.

Entry-level position; may not require previous experience.

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor|s Degree in Biology- Environmental Science- Soil Science or related discipline

Educational and internship background should include experience in wetland identification and understanding- ecology- marine science- wildlife biology and/or general environmental science

Background and proficiency with GIS systems for map making with natural resources overlays highly desired

Ability to work in the field supporting wetlands delineation- natural resource surveys- wildlife surveys and tracking and general environmental sampling

Strong writing skills and reporting and research

Ability to work overtime

Strong communication skills- maturity and teamwork required

OSHA 40 HAZWOPER training certification
